Heather Keller, a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, is an expert in nutrition and older adults.
Through her research, she strives to improve the nutritional state and health of older adults, whether they live in communities or in institutions. She has developed a wide collaborative network for research in both community and clinical settings and translating this research and knowledge to practitioners, families, and older adults is a priority.
Professor Keller has three research streams:
1) nutrition risk screening,
2) nutrition and aging well in older adults
3) nutrition and dementia.
